The Baahubali actor Prabhas, who won a million hearts with, will now face the camera after about 4.5 years. He began shooting for his upcoming film Saaho. Neil Nitin Mukesh is finalised to play the antagonist in Saaho.
In spite of Prabhas being on social media, his posts and updates surface rather seldom. So his fans tend to pay special attention when he surfaces with any update.
Prabhas wrote in his Facebook page that he has begun shooting for his next film, Saaho.
In the post, he writes, “Its Shoot Time…. Almost after 4 and half years of Baahubali journey, excited to enter a new action world called Saaho…”
Interestingly, Saaho is a Telugu-Hindi bilingual film and it is said to be very different from the one of Baahubali. If SS Rajamouli’s fantasy drama was about a morally upright man fighting for good, then Saaho is expected to be a gritty, urban crime-cum-action drama that plays out in modern times. The concept of differentiating between the good and evil will blur out this time around.
Soon after Baahubali 2 released, Prabhas went to the US, away from all the craze and hoopla around the film. He returned in June only when the frenzy had died down.
Meanwhile, Saaho has been making news for interesting reasons. First, the hit pair Prabhas and Anushka Shetty were supposed to be paired together for the fifth time around. Given the fact that how successfully this pair has created magic on-screen, there was a huge rage. However, that excitement died down as Anushka could not manage to give dates since she was already committed to a big budget Tamil film from before.
Later, casting the female lead took prominence all over again. The buzz had it that Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has been zeroed in to star opposite Prabhas. On 16th August, the news was confirmed that she in fact will be paired opposite Prabhas.
Shraddha Kapoor took to twitter and confirmed the news, she wrote, “So so excited to be a part of the ‘Saaho’ team & to be working with Prabhas!!! Woohoo 🤸🏻♀️❤️”

Although it took a whopping Rs 5 crores to get Shraddha Kapoor on board in the cast of Saaho. Also, Prabhas who was paid a hefty remuneration of Rs 25 crores for the Baahubali franchise, this time has charged Rs 30 crores for the next film.
