It was in Jan 2017, Mohanlal confirmed the revival of his 2014 project – Randamoozham on a TV show. The film is based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s novel by the same name. It narrates the Mahabharatha from Bheem’s perspective. The film will be made on an exorbitant budget of Rs 600 crore. Sreekumar has been finalised as the director. As per reports on India glitz, it was he who confirmed Amitabh Bachchan‘s role in Ranamoozham. “Yes, he is the Bhishma of Randamoozham. We aren’t taking any cinematic liberties with the character for the movie, he will be playing the role as it is in the book,” stated the director while speaking with Times of India. He will reportedly be playing Bhishma. With Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan already part of of this big-budget film, the movie promises to be a grand project.
