After a 6-month long wait, filmmaker Karan Johar finally shared the first picture of his twins Yash and Roohi on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
Every opportunity he gets, the doting father that he is, he speaks a lot about them. He was blessed with the twins through surrogacy. After their birth, he had promised to share a picture soon, so after a long wait he finally revealed the twin babies’ picture on Rakshabandhan.
The twins are named after their grandparents, Yash and Roohi, have turned 6 months old.
He also expressed that while people in the circuit would expect his kids to be successful filmmakers themselves, just like their family legacy, but he wants to provide them all the independence to make their own choices. He also said that when they are all grown up he wishes to be an integral part of their thoughts and overall being.
We all know being a single parent ain’t easy, but Karan Johar has been upto a fabulous job at being an excellent father. Karan Johar told how emotional a moment it was for him to hold the babies for the first time in his arms.
He said, “When I held them for the first time, I don’t think I can describe the feeling. I cannot explain what I felt. I just sat in the chair and held my daughter first, as she is a little more vulnerable medically. I didn’t even realise there were tears rolling down my face. That feeling cannot be replaced by any other emotion.”
Have a look at the adorable babies.
