We all know that Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and south megastar Rajinikanth are best friends. The two have always shared a good rapport and even worked together in quite a few films like Hum, Giraftaar, and Andha Kanoon. They have also been very vocal about their affection for each other.
So we were not really surprised when we heard that Amitabh warned Rajinikanth against joining politics. Yes, buzz is that Rajinikanth is planning to float of his own party and fight elections in Tamil Nadu. But Amitabh Bachchan thinks otherwise and has apparently expressed his concerns to the Thalaiva.
After two factions of AIADMK, namely VK Sasikala’s aides and O Panneerselvam’s supporters have started a battle against each other, the situation in Tamil Nadu has started to deteriorate. To clear things up and to solve all these issues, Rajinikanth is planning to launch his own political party.
Sources have told various TV channels that the megastar has been advised by senior RSS ideologue S Gurumurthy to float his own outfit.
TV channels revealed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tried to woo Rajinikanth to their party, but the superstar wants to fly solo and partner with BJP if the elections do take place again. News channels in India quoted sources, “BJP is trying to woo superstar Rajinikanth.
BJP is trying to project Rajinikanth as the CM face.” Currently, Rajinikanth is seeking opinions of his well-wishers and we are sure that Mr Bachchan’s viewpoint would matter too. After all the Bollywood superstar had himself had a brief yet controversial stint with politics, when he contested and won from Allahabad Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh on a Congress ticket in 1980.
With the current situation in Tamil Nadu, buzz is that the state might go into Presidential rule soon. And this might prompt a new round of election in a few months. During this period, if Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth decide to join hands, it might prove to be a very strong alliance. Sources said Gurumurthy’s proposal is part of BJP’s plan to enter the state riding on the massive popularity and cult status enjoyed by Rajinikanth in Tamil Nadu.
