Jagga Jasoos’ trailer makes it amply clear that the film will cater to the kids. It has mystery, some goofy elements and some really cool places to explore. For the first time perhaps Ranbir Kapoor will be catering to a completely new demography – kids.
And that’s one section of the audience which has been loyal to Hrithik Roshan thanks to the Krrish series. It was said that Rakesh Roshan made Koi…Mil Gaya to honour the kiddie fans of HR and since then the franchise has managed only hits. And probably because of that Ranbir has decided to use Hrithik Roshan’s way of promoting Krrish. We hear the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor wants to do exactly what the Kaabil star did for her superhero series.
According to rumours, Ranbir will be promoting the film with kids. He might visit schools and other centres to make them realise it’s a film for them. He apparently wants to replicate exactly what Hrithik did for his Krrish series. Jagga Jasoos’ trailer, we have to agree, looks pretty classy with so much happening. The best about this trailer is there is just one dialogue right at the end of Ranbir.
All through the trailer they have only shown various locations the film has been. There are a few good comic scenes as well. It will be a really good looking comedy for kids we can see from the trailer. Anurag Basu had revealed much earlier that Jagga Jasoo will be for the kids.
He had told IANS, ““When screening of ‘Barfi’ was going on, everybody was happy. And when the trial was going on, I thought everybody would like the movie. But my younger daughter didn’t understand the movie and she was not very impressed. I was upset. So I thought of making a film for children and now Jagga is for children.” The film releases on April 7, 2017.
