arah Jessica Parker has confirmed in a shocking revelation upsetting all fans worldwide that Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York, and Miranda Hobbes will not be reuniting for the third sequel of Sex And The City.
“It’s over… we’re not doing it,” Parker said in an interview. The actor played the most famous fashionista in the TV world back then – Carrie Bradshaw and the show had a very good run from 1998 to 2004 and returned on the big screen in 2008 and 2010.
“I’m disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story. It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.”
The actor’s confirmation has come after the rumors doing the rounds that it was actually Kim Cattrall’s alleged demands which eventually led to the whole cancellation thing of the third sequel. Cattrall slammed this report in a tweet saying she had made it very clear in 2016 itself that never wanted to do the third part of SATC.
“The only ‘DEMAND’ I ever made was that I didn’t want to do the 3rd film,” she tweeted.
Woke 2 a @MailOnline 💩storm! The only 'DEMAND' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film….& that was back in 2016

Actor Kristin Davis, who played the role of Charlotte York in the series had totally the opposite thing to say. She said “it was deeply frustrating to not be able to make the movie”.
“it was deeply frustrating to not be able to make the movie. “It is true that we are not going to be able to make the 3rd film. I wish that we could have made the final chapter, on our own terms, to complete the stories of our characters.
Davis took to Instagram to open her heart about what she feels about the whole thing and referring to ‘Sex and the City’ writer-director-producer Michael Patrick King’s script.
I love to look back at the pics from our LONG history of Sex and the City. I am incredibly lucky to have gotten to play Charlotte through all of her ups and downs ( epitomized in one of my favorite episodes here). It is true that we are not going to be able to make a 3rd film. I wish that we could have made the final chapter, on our own terms, to complete the stories of our characters. It is deeply frustrating not to able to share that chapter (beautifully written by MPK) with all of you. So we will just have our memories, but please know that all of the love and support for us through the years is felt by us and we are so grateful for all of you!SATC forever in our hearts ❤️💗❤️💗❤️💗❤️💗
