Caeser is left with no choice but to resort to his inner demons to avenge what has been done wrong to the apes! The latest trailer of War for the Planet of the Apes has released and just as expected, the franchise is promising an epic battle. Starring Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer and Terry Notary in pivotal roles, the third instalment of the film wages a war between the human army and the apes. Like all the previous parts, we get to see some of the best visuals as Andy Serkis voices the ape, Ceaser. The storyline is very simple. It’s a tale of vengeance as both, the human forces and apes battle it out.
“I did not start this war — I fight only to protect apes,” Andy’s Caeser tells Colonel, played by Woody Harrelson. Due to unimaginable circumstances, the apes are forced into a battle with the humans that is led by the ruthless Colonel. With the extensive amount of loss and with a view to saving his race, Caeser swears to protect his kind as he unleashes his inner demons. Everything about the trailer is spectacular. For those who have been fans of the critically acclaimed franchise, you might feel very nostalgic as the trailer hits the right chords.
The dialogues are extremely good as every conversational exchange the Colonel and Caeser have will instantly get stuck in your head. “I offered you peace,” Caesar tells the ruthless Colonel. “I showed you mercy.” To this, “You talk about mercy?” he responds. “No matter what you say, eventually you’d replace us. That’s the law of nature.” The film also stars Amiah Miller as Nova, young mute girl, who has befriended the apes and is on their side (hopefully). Another interesting insight we’ve noticed in the trailer is how Steve Zahn explains that when the humans get sick, apes grow smart.
The film is slated to release on July 14, this year.
